Beautiful Georgian New Town 2 bed apartment

Location, bedroom, cleanliness.

Difficult to get the keys. The instructions didn’t seem up to date. There was also a problem with the bath, we couldn’t use it on the second day because some dirty water was coming up from the pipes.

This apartment in Gregorian House is a cozy mix of old-world charm and modern amenities. Perfectly located near the city center, it's ideal for exploring. The kitchen has everything you need, even coffee pods! Just be aware, the wooden floors creak a bit, and the ceiling could use some fixing. Overall, a nice spot for a convenient and comfortable stay.

Ideal location within walking distance of centre of Edinburgh. Interesting tenement flat that was very comfortable.

The instructions for getting into the building/flat were very misleading - it was fortunate that we were able to make contact with the hosts by phone to get clearer information. The stone stairs inside were unexpectedy steep, okay for most but challenging for anyone with poor head for heights.

Good size apartment in a great location walking distance to Edinburgh city centre. Communication from the hosts was fantastic and end-to-end experience exceeded expectations.

Location was great, 10 min walk to St Andrews square, quiet location, wifi good Loved the Georgian style with large windows, heating on timer and sufficient for our needs as out all day Kitchen facilities good, bedroom sizes nice, one larger with gorgeous fireplace feature, info left to aid stay and host kindly allowed an hour later check out for us

Although quirky, the original exposed floorboards were very creaky! Impossible to be quiet on foot Provided one small bath towel each, was the hand towel forgotten? as could have done with one for wet hair.. Perhaps a non slip mat for the shower would be helpful, ok for us but had to be careful.. The windows whilst lovely would be so much better if cleaned!

Extremely helpful hosts who quickly aided us on arrival when we struggled to get into the property, as well as allowing us a late checkout at no extra cost which was especially appreciated. The apartment itself was everything we needed it to be; comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi and beautifully furnished. The location was also perfect - a quiet residential street away from the busyness of the centre, but also within walking distance of all main points of interest. There is nothing we would have wanted to be different!!
