LISBON PLACE - historic center with terrace

Clean. Acceptable. Nothing fancy. Beds are very firm. Ok for me. Some would say the mattress is hard. It is a typical IKEA single mattress with springs covered by a layer of foam. The apartment is half sunken basement. So the windows are WAY up high. The 2nd bedroom has no window. It was cold and wet so we closed the windows all day. When we got home it was very musty, but after opening the windows it was fine. Be careful with the electricity. If you run both heaters and the hair dryer you will blow the circuit breaker. Easy to reset.

The apartment did NOT look like the cute photos. The "couch" is a piece of foam sittingon two fork truck pellets. The art on the walls is not there. The host either photoshopped or perhaps they repainted to cover mold and such. I attach my own photos to show what it really looks like. Supposedly there is parking directly across the street. But it was blocked in. So we had to return our rent car and take an Uber to the apartment. The across the place garage was not open early sunday morning so we would have had a HUGE problem getting the car out so we could go to the airport.

The location was ideal Very close to public transport Not to far if you like walking to Rossio square Our host was wonderful they were very Flexible regarding check in and checkout

La ubicación y lo amplio que era

Es un subsuelo, no tiene ventilación en las recamaras, la ducha tenía Hongos y la habticaion principal también, las camas de la segunda habitación los colchones era duros e incómodos.

Estaba muy bien ubicado

El tema parking es un poco complicado, la ducha no tenia tanta presión de agua y no se calentaba bien el apartamento. Pero en lineas general ha estado muy bien.

Cristina was excellent to deal with as she responded to any questions almost immediately. Location was central and close to grocery store.

The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and we left a day early. There was no place comfortable to lounge after long day walking through city. If they updated furniture, place would be much better. Also a moldy smell but we could have gotten past that if we’d been comfortable.

Es muy bonito y mas grande de lo que se ve en las fotos. Las camas son muy cómodas. La cocina para quien la necesite está equipada con lo necesario y tiene amplios espacios para sentarse y compartir. El baño es amplio. La comunicación con el anfitrión es muy buena ya que siempre está atento. La ubicación es buena, está en una zona buena, aunque para la parte mas turística esta a unos 30 minutos caminando, pero nos beneficio que también estaba cerca del parque de diversiones para la época de navidad.

Que se debe tener Internet si o si para avisar que llegaste, ya que la puerta principal cuando llegas por primera vez te la abren de manera remota pero a veces cuando se viene del exterior no siempre se cuenta con Internet. En nuestro caso sin Internet para poder disfrutar las vacaciones 😀

The only thing I would recommend about the property is the location of the house even if it is tricky to be accessed in public transport.

It is a basement without elevator - 43 steps at least to carry your luggage up and down. Unfortunately the property has no windows in the rooms or in the loo/bathroom, and with mold and humidity issues everywhere - so I would not recommend the place for elderly, kids or people with asthma or limited mobility. The apartment is actually really cold during the winter, and does not have heating or AC only two tiny electronic radiators and couple of loud dehumidifiers. No shampoo or gel was provided at all which was tricky for us as we arrived late in during the Christmas period. They are doing works in the street and renovations in the building so we were woken up at 7h15 am everyday due to the heavy noise. They don’t have chairs only backless stools and TV has the size of a tiny computer screen and internet is so slow that you can’t watch Netflix or do FaceTimes. You are not allowed of leaving your luggage in the property after check in at 11am, so you’ll need to find a storage nearby - the cheapest one is 22€ per luggage for few hours… Unfortunately, we finally decided to find a more comfortable accommodation for couple of days during our stay as the house didn’t meet our expectations and we were not comfortable staying there for Christmas eve.

És un apartament acollidor i molt ben situat, amb línia de metro a prop que connecta molt bé amb la ciutata. Està situat en una zona tranquil.la i de molt bon arribar. Hi ha supermercat gran a prop i bars i restaurants a la zona. La Cristina és molt atenta i ha estat molt pendent de nosaltres en tot moment. L'apartament té cafetera, secador de cabells, mantes, wifi, estenedor...està molt ben equipat.

És un apartament situat en els baixos d'un edifici i queda per sota el nivell del carrer. La humitat es nota molt. Els dies que hi vam anar plovi i tot i que hi ha deshumificadors i calefactors en les habitacions l'ambient és humit. Té sortida a la terrassa i unes finestretes petites a l'habitació. El bany i l'altra habitació no tenen finestra.
