Axis - Century City Self Catering Apartment

The location was great. The parking was safe and easy to access. The staff that assisted me was professional and very helpful.

The bed was of very poor quality. The linen was very mediocre. Both the bed and sofa gave me a severe backache, and I am still trying to recover from the pain. The television had a sound bar in front that made it difficult to navigate the channels. The sound bar, TV, and DSTV remote batteries were dead. I had to buy my own. I could not put on the DSTV bouquet, despite the availability of a remote . The microwave was unclean. The ironing board was totally broken. The apartmen5 was cleaned only once. Towels were only changed once. I had to buy my own towels. I use a clean towel every time I shower at home. I definitely won't be staying here again. Finally, there was no information about anything at this facility.

Communication from agent was non existant or subpar to requirements of the building such as smoke detector inspections. Had I not reached out first, no communication/info would've been related to current events. Cleaning was subpar and non regular as promised. Showing an inconsideration to comfort and expectation of guests. Shower had public hair from previous visitors, showing the shower was not cleaned properly and no post inspections were done. Not enough towels for two people for a week. Sometimes no toilet paper was left of refuse bags for the dirt bin., Eventhough the apartment ad/facilities mentioned toilet paper would be included. Water pressure and Water warmth was non existent on occasion and no communication on building issues. No signs or letter drop. Cheap door locking mechanism left me locked in the bathroom and it was promised to be fixed was never was. Old, warped and damaged cooking equipment left for use. Battery in the soundbar was promised to be replaced, but never was. Lamps in the corner light feature, were not all functional which resulted in low lighting conditions. .
