The place is such a lovely place if one wants to learn about different cultures in south africa and their history. The stuff is also amazing and very helpful.

The drain on the shower was not working and the hot and cold mixer for the water in the shower was not working, made the whole experience not nice

Loved the whole concept, the artwork was great, met the artist. Head chef and food great! Traditional dancing & show was great. The breakfasts were excellent and the CHEF, bless his heart was the most jovial and friendly person - he made this facility.

The staff was shocking. Receptionist made our stay a nightmare. The deluxe rooms are so dark, you almost feel your way around, not like photos! My Dad, 88, knee op battled on their rickety pathways, our room furtherest away, the Receptionist fought us about changing to front rooms, terrible treatment. They took our luggage to compound & delivered it 10 mins later. Booked 2 nights, huge mistake as there is NOTHING to do there, no pool, no gardens. They wouldn't refund our 2nd night if we wanted go cancel. No manager to speak to till last day. This huge potential place desperately needs to train their shocking staff. Scary being treated with such an entitled South African attitude. I have written 5 emails to Lesedi & head office, given them enough time to respond and refund me - NOTHING. I am posting the photos of DARK room and bathroom - NOTHING like their photos on the site. HANLIE LOMBARD, the date today is 14th MARCH 2026, you stated my payment was being PAID on 17th FEB!!!!! I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND FROM 6-8 FEB !!!! THAT IS 1.5 MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!!! CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY PLEASE!!!

The place is very CUTEEE and serene 🥺 quiet and calming. The rooms are very cool, the remind me of home I would definitely stay here again We saw a late night cultural “show” if I can call it that , that too reminded me of home!

There was no hot water in mine and my friends room (S11) but luckily there were 6 of us so we used the showers in the guys rooms 😊
