Apartment 3, Khyber Lodge Apartments Whitby

Not luxury. Clean but sparse. Expensive

Location was ideal, apartment was nice, spacious and quiet. There were nice views of the sea, and the window seating was good. It was nice that cleaning items were incuded (dishwasher tablets etc) and tea/coffee/milk was also a nice inclusion. The biscuits that were included were a great touch and really nice. Plenty of coat-hangers available in the wardrobe. Would stay here again.

The bedroom was big enough to have a small set of drawers for non-hanging clothes and would have been a useful addition, so had to leave some clothes in suitcase. The bathroom had plenty of space but there was no where to hang wet towels. A simple towel rail would be useful, even a basic 'over-the-radiator' type would suffice. It was a shame that W-Zone parking wasn't included like other places we have stayed, however parking was close and easily accessible (Pavilion, North Terrace, West cliff) all within 5mins walk and cost £10.80 for 24hrs which is acceptable.

We didn't have breakfast it was just a self catered Apartment but everything there if we wanted to stay in.

The bed was a little bit too soft for us, we have trouble with our backs so would have been better a little bit harder.

Perfect location, lovely and clean apartment, got everything you need, the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in.
