USThis cute little apartment was just what we needed to end our 3-week trip to Europe. The keys were gathered from a lock box with a code given to me via email. The instructions were very clear (after we used our translator app). We only needed it for one night because our flight was at 7:00 am. It was relaxing with a nice patio, comfortable beds, great AC, and a nice shower. We booked a taxi to pick us up at 4:30 am and we got to the airport in plenty of time. It would have been much earlier if we had stayed in Rome, and much more hectic.
The keys to the apartment got us into the apartment, but we didn't realize that there was no doorknob! When we went outside to sit in the breeze on the patio, we shut the door, leaving the keys inside the apartment. We had inadvertently locked ourselves out! We had to call the owners to help us. They were kind enough to come right over even though they were on their way to an evening out. After opening the door, we had a nice conversation with them. A very nice, cute couple!

CAWe liked that the details and photos in the description of the place and its facilities were accurate. The place was also very clean and that's always a good thing. Check the details for your requirements as this is a private home/house..There is also a Supermarket, 3 minutes drive or 8 minutes walk close by, if you need any supplies, food, etc. Our stay was for only one day/night and we wanted to be reasonably close to Downtown Rome and also to FCO Airport, both of which were about a 30 - 35 minute drive. We had a budget of around $200 CAD and at the time of booking, this was one of the cheapest we could find.. This was our first time in Italy and coming from North America, you're not quite sure what to expect. Having a car is convenient if you think you can cope with the driving style. We had a rental and I liked that this place has its own garage as seen in the photos with a keyless fob remote for the gate and garage door opener. The experience was very much like renting someone's house, all be it, a one bedroom, although there is a pull out sofa bed on the main floor. There is a washer but no dryer, which I don't believe is common in Europe, unless the washer doubles as a dryer, which I've never seen. We would definitely consider staying here again and wouldn't have a problem recommending it. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 rating, is that there is always something that could be better, or a better deal, otherwise, it was great.
This really isn't a negative, rather something to be aware of.. Unlike checking in to a hotel or motel with a reception, you will need to be in contact with the host, either by messaging on Booking.com or directly, in order to pickup keys and get the lowdown on the place and how to use the remote to access the garage. Be prepared to cook or look for somewhere to eat. We grabbed a few snacks and drinks at the supermarket close by.
