Nantahala River Luxury Escape-on the river!

This was my second time staying at this property! The apartment is tucked into the rear of the main house, in a small, private gated community. The best part is the proximity to the river, which provides entertainment during the day (be sure to wave to all the rafters!) and Mother Nature’s “white noise” at night. A true gem and I hope to visit again soon.

The location was wonderful! The boys loved making a camp fire in the fire pit. We all loved watching the rafters and kayakers on the river from the Adirondack chairs feet from the river front. The cabin was beautiful and outfitted with everything you need. The cleanliness was second to none. We will be returning.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Location, river. Small LR area, but well appointed and kitchen. Does have a loft and pull out couch w second bath. Close to scenic attractions. Nice gated community.

Digital entrance key app did not work. Some communication with owner via Booking.com did not work well. Difficulty finding correct rental and getting in. Close to busy road on other side of trees - edge of gated community.

The best part about this property is that it is situated adjacent to the Nantahala River. It’s so fun to sit in the Adirondack chairs and wave to the rafters going by (I will be sure to bring a Super Soaker next time)! The guesthouse was *immaculate* and is perfect for a solo traveler/couple/small family. I also really loved that they are pet friendly. The house guide gives great tips on an assortment of outdoor activities that are located nearby; and the guesthouse itself was really cozy with an electric fireplace for those days you want to just hang out and read/study. Also appreciated the well-stocked kitchen.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I had to leave. :(

The only suggestion I have is to make sure the people know in advance. They have to download the app and have some type of Internet. We were stuck for over an hour cause we could not get on the Internet to download the app. As you know we had to contact you through email, then go to the top of the hill to receive that signal.
