DEClean, newly renovated and decorated, kitchen with dishwasher for use (shared), electric kettle for tea, and coffee maker, place to eat, view of garden. Heating with air conditioning worked well for bed room. LIDL and other shops not too far away.
Bit out of the way. Couldn't lock door of my room. Was told I was alone in the house though (that part of the house), but there was suddenly stuff and a phone ringing right in front of my door. Wasn't given keys to the house either. Owner and children outside in garden in front of my back door, I didn't feel I could leave it open once the rain had stopped, but had to draw the curtains early, also didn't figure out how I could go outside bec of mosquito net. No idea where I could have used the garden anyways. One can hear everything from next door & garden, part of the downstairs room is under the stairs, ie when more people in the house, one would hear everything, and it is directly next to ringing church tower. Strange was the parking, I had to insist on parking "on premises", to keep my stuff in the car safe (there's hardly enough space though, and max for 1 guest), after I had to move the car away from in front of the house, but someone else then parked there. At checkout time no sight of owners. Didn't manage to turn heating on in bathroom, and water at sink never got hot, so I didn't try the shower. Just 1 pillow. My vegan breakfast was supposed to cost twice as much as stated on booking. com. Fireplace you see on one photo cannot be used. I arrived in the rain, and nobody openend and I didn't know where to ring, though lady owner then arrived herself. All in all I simply felt like an intruder in their own house. It's probably great for a group of people, who also want to cook together. With me in the downstairs room, it would have been really strange to have strangers eating right in front of my door.
