Creel Cottage- stylish cottage near the sea

Location was excellent. A quiet street but close to the harbour, facilities and bus stops. The house was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The lounge and bedrooms are large, bright and airy, and the beds are comfy. There is a nice private courtyard that gets the sun in the morning and early afternoon.

There are no dressing tables or chairs in the bedrooms, so nowhere to sit and do hair/make up etc., though there is a full length mirror in the larger bedroom. There is also a lack of bins with none in the bedrooms or lounge. The decking area of the neighbouring property on School Road? projects into the back courtyard and feels intrusive. It is not very private when that property is occupied as the wooden fence doesn’t allow for privacy.

Bed was uncomfortable, house felt sterile, shower/bathroom could be nicer. Bad smell from downstairs toilet on arrival and for first 2 days

Great location, well appointed with easy to follow access instructions.

Such a quiet little street but a short walk to all the amenities.

A second toilet would be useful
