Entire 2 bedroom Pet Friendly Guest Cottage

Cute cottage in the middle of town with close access to restaurants and stores.

It was super clean and comfortable. Pet friendly. The location was amazing. Alpine is beautiful.

Rules, rules, and more rules. Every time I walked out the front door the AC would automatically be turned off. Wasn’t able to it turn lower than 75 when present and it was in the high 80s/low 90s in alpine that week. I had an elderly French bulldog in the house. I left for a couple hours and it was 87 in the house when I returned and she was on the verge of a heat stroke, I returned just in time. That made my trip stressful due to having to return every couple hours to check on her to make sure she didn’t die. Also, warning if you bring pets you will be slapped with an unexpected pet fee that is outside of your booking fee and is asked to be paid through Venmo. I was unaware that it wasn’t included in the total booking cost. And be prepared to hear from the host daily.. some might enjoy that but I was trying to enjoy my graduation vacation. Lastly, no patio lights, the string lights only came on at 8:30 and back off by 10:00 so no enjoying the cool alpine evenings outside.

Quiet, walking distance to restaurants.

The price for dogs. There is a 150 cleaning fee already so for small a miniature and toy dog, I think the price for an extra $100 for two nights was a little high.

The cottage is very clean and comfortable and is an easy walk to downtown Alpine. We only stayed one night but It is well stocked and has everything needed for a longer stay. Internet worked well. Hosts were super communicative and responsive. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again.

It wasn't an issue for us but just a heads up that the second bed is a Murphy bed. It might impact some people and I'm not sure if that is clear in the description or not, so putting it here for sake of completeness.
