Royal Ace Boutique Hotel - Manyata Techpark

Nice variety & quality in the breakfast buffet. Walkable from some nice restos & pubs. Fairly clean linens, not bleached but relatively well washed

- construction noise right out the window - our room was some 30m from a major road, making for very loud traffic noises throughout the night. A sound sleep was impossible - strange smell in the bathroom. - no sound-proofing in the building. Noisy guests in the hall were bothersome late at night

Hotel is ideal if you attend events at the Manayata business park since it is only 5 mins walk from it. It is also very convenient if you do not want to take a taxi from the airport. The airport bus leaves you at the Manayata park and it is very fast. There is also very good bus transportation to go to the center. Staff is very helpful and kind. I got sick and they helped me through. Room is spacious and clean, including bathroom. Good value for money.

I got food poisoning while staying at the hotel. I only had food at Hilton where I was attending a conference and at the hotel where I had breakfast. I didn't eat raw vegetables and only drank bottled water, but I did eat fresh fruit. The rest of the food I had was cooked food. I guess the food was contaminated, but I cannot say in which of these two locations. In any case, as foreigner, be careful of what you eat at breakfast.
