Hotel- Whale Tours Vista Mag-Bay

Location is ideal for whale watching tours. Room was small but very clean, tiniest fridge I've ever seen and a small TV w streaming. The most amazing sunrise and sunsets, glorious! Breakfast is excellent, for an additional nominal fee. Be prepared for a very uncomfortable spring mattress. No heat, but found out the next day there are space heaters available which would have been good to know at check-in. Dogs barking and roosters crowing so a little noisy at times. They supplied a couple bottles of water which was nice. Staff is wonderful and the grey whale tour was beyond our expectations!! Right on the water but too cold this time of year to enjoy. Area is remote and safe. Must have a car. Had the best local dinner and service at Fonda El Fogón, 2 minutes away! Absolutely loved them and will return. It was fine for 1 night.

The beds were extremely soft, you sink in like a hole and feel the metal springs. Terribly uncomfortable.

The property was extremely clean. The bed comfy . The location perfect The owners amazing.

Some small issues - sink in bathroom only worked with cold water but shower was perfect and hot . No TV in our room but that was ok for us.

Well located close to the seaside, clean room and good service.

This why by far the best option in town. The town is very small just so you know, don’t expect much. The host here was so kind and nice. I highly recommend the place. Host spoke English and was attentive to little things we asked for. If I came back to the area I’d stay here for sure

Some guests near us had loud music one night. Not the hotels fault.

The staff at the hotel were absolutely delightful, helpful and friendly. Jacibe helped us with great restaurant recommendations, and directions, both nights we stayed there. We felt very much at home.

most comfortable bed in the world!! its a familyrun business and everyone is super nice, nice view to the ocean and san carlos is a reall cute lil town if you wanna experience the real mexico :)
