Villa Selong Belanak - Private Beach Access

Great Design, great hosts who arranged everything and cooked breakfast - thank you team. Pool and setting was really nice. House is off grid with a large solar array and bore water. Some really good restaurants near by (Amber, Boni and Segara Lombok. Last two are 2 minutes away) You can get home delivery from the close ones including wine, beer.

Aircon struggled a little in master bed room, was good in the other rooms. Was fine as long as you kept it on all day and pulled the curtains on the sun side. Other house can look down into pool area from their bedroom (sea side one) but the trees are coming up.

The Villa is as beautiful as on the pictures. We stayed 5 nights as a whole family of 6 persons, the villa was by far large enough, very airy design. We loved to keep the large glass doors open in the first floor and practically live in the treetops of palm and banana trees. Easy access to the beach, there is also a surf-rental (with quite inflated prices, 150k for a board (other beaches 50k). Surfbreak was good for intermediate surfers. We mainly walked 3 min to Segara restaurant for dinner, which we loved! There is a new Warung directly at the beach which is also good for lunch. We rented a car for 2 days to drive to some other surfbeaches. We really enjoyed the remote location, perfect after our 3 weeks Bali/Lombok trip to relax and just spend time in the villa and beach. You have the beach practically to yourself. Kamal and the full service team were excellent, can arrange (almost) everything you want, there is also 24h security, but we did not have the feeling there was any issue on security. The prepares breakfast to your liking in the kitchen, and otherwise let you have your full privacy. Thanks Kamal and the team!

The main door could not be locked, but Kamal informed us on this and I think this will be fixed quickly. Not an issue as there is anyway security

Gorgeous villa with enough space for everyone. Lots of different zones depending on your mood. Pool area offered shade and sun. Outdoors it’s surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens. Kamal, the manager, was excellent. He catered to all our needs and was able to arrange transport and bookings quickly.

Leaving

I will definitely recommend this villa as a dream place for vacation. Neat and organized. Our house keeper Kamel is such a great person, he host us as friends in a warm embrace. My daughter likes to play with him literally every single night. And he takes his own time to accompany her. The house looks the same as the photos, even better. Please do not hesitate to book it.

None, everything are prefect here, we wanna extend out holidays if we could!

I cannot fault the entire staffs' attitude in not only hosting our family but quick reaction in reacting to unforeseen emergency situation, the entire villa's air conditioning experienced malfunction, which is beyond their control during our second day, 1 sweaty night but it was all taken care of on the next day. Yoyo and Kamal went above and beyond to ensure the issue was immediately rectified on the same day, resulting in a comfortable stay for the rest of our stay.

I think the pebbles in the shower area can be reduced to ensure smooth drainage, as it is not drainage issue but the amount of pebbles are causing water to drain way too slow which could lead to flooding in bathroom area.

The facilities were good, the service from Kamal and his team was excellent- they were super helpful and reliable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the villa.

The only downside is the location- it’s quite secluded and far from the attractions in Lombok

The property was very new and fresh. Manager and team very helpful and obliging with requests.

Standard of cooking for breakfast is acceptable but could be better. Staff sometimes overlook small details like bits of food from cooking left on the floor, and some plates and bowls had food stains left.

The villa is brandnew, superclean, comfortable and with great tasteful design, surrounded by nature. There is a very nice pool, airconditioning (solar panels), a bbq, netflix etc. We were with a family of 5, but the villa is equipped for 10 people (4 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms). There is so much space and there are places to chill on sunloungers, couches etc everywhere. The garden is huge and lush, but there is a lawn to where you can play badminton. The beautiful Serangan beach is a few minutes walk and there are 2 good neighbouring restaurants. We loved it all so much that after a 3 day stay we moved to a new location, but spontaneously decided to come back the next day to end our 8 month trip in this villa. Every morning your breakfast is cooked for you in the villa. Our youngest couldn’t get enough of the pancakes. Very nice! What we liked the most? Kamal (villa manager)and the rest of the staff who were so friendly and helpful with everything. They organised dinner on our late night arrival (we asked while being in the taxi and it was there upon arrival!), car rental, birthday cake, birthday decorations, surf lessons etc. Highly recommended!

Just a heads up: Serangan beach is beautiful & the restaurants are great, but it is a bit further away from Selong Belanak (15 minutes) and Kuta (35 minutes).So you need transport to go to these places.
