Hom's Homestay Retreat Sarangkot Pokhara

Wow! 3 days here was not enough! I had an amazing time here living like a local, helping on the farm as well. Mr Hom and his family are the nicest people that I’ve met! The nice warm meals and just them always ready to help. I highly recommend staying here, and I cannot wait to return!

a serene and peaceful place to call home !! hom and his family welcome you like a part of their family, i really enjoyed getting an experience staying with a family as most of my lodging has been in hostels and such where its hard to get a sense for what local life is. plus the bed is super cozy and comfortable ! and there’s wifi and such as well.

The family was amazing, they looked after me and helped me with whatever I needed. The views are amazing and very peaceful.

If you want to experience how the nepali people live, than Hom's place is the best! You wil see and learn how it is on a farm. Eat organic tastefull homecooked food. En be surounded by the openhearted family 😊 You can walk up to sarangkot vieuwpoint to see the majestic anna purna range with the sunrise. Or if you want to go trekking, Hom is also the guy for you.

An experience you can’t miss! Hom and his family were incredibly hospitable and truly made us feel welcome. We had unforgettable experiences and truly wished we could have stayed longer!! Its the most authentic experience you will get in Nepal.

Loved everything but keep in mind that its 15-min walk on a mountain so travel light!!

The serene environment and the sustainable diet. Hom and the Dhakal family are one of the nicest and kindest families I have ever met. Even though it has been their home for generations, they have all the essentials required for a stay. The property is in the middle of nature and mountain. It was beautiful.

Hom's homestay is a cute little village farm with fresh organic homemade food and super welcoming family, they were very helpful with all my inquiries. Don't expect a hotel or resort quality, what they offer is so much more: a true/real friendly host and an authentic Nepali experience!
