Bilbao Arte V with parking by Aston Rentals

It's a very nice apartment, in a great location just around the corner from the Guggenheim museum. Plenty of space in the apartment and lots of great restaurants nearby.

The communication could have been better. Despite the included parking spot being prominent in the listing, we weren't told where to drive for the parking until about an hour before arrival. I was driving so I didn't look at my phone and didn't know where to go to (not the apartment address). When we got there, we had to wait in the street until the representative turned up, even though we arrived at exactly the time we said we'd arrive. Moreover, since they are offering an apartment with parking inside the low emissions zone in Bilbao, I would also expect that they tell you about it: what it is, which cars are allowed and how you can register your foreign car. It all worked out in the end (the low emissions zone app is quite easy to do and our car qualified), but what if it didn't? One of the 2 toilets was a bit temperamental. At one stage it ran out of water and it wouldn't flush any more, leaving a smelly poo just sitting there. The rental agent did respond quite quickly with the technique to get the toilet to fill and flush again (hit the right hand side of the cistern a few times), but it would have been nicer not to have to play 'amateur plumber' on holiday. There was no kettle for boiling water for tea. None of this really takes that much away from it being a very nice apartment and it's really easy to fix these things, so maybe future guests won't have to put up with them. If they were fixed I would have scored it a 10.

L’appartement est idéalement situé. Très propre et très bien équipé. Literie de qualité, équipement moderne, décoration raffinée.

Le parking, c’est super, mais il est très étroit. S’il avait été plein, nous n’aurions jamais pu y garer notre SUV. C’est fait pour des petites voitures, des citadines. C’est le seul bémol.
