Lovely Hot Tub Caravan in Northumberland, Free Golf Access, Dog Friendly

The caravan was lovely. Just the short break we needed. We loved the hot tub

So glad we found this after another booking we’d had for Percy Wood cancelled less than 2 weeks before - this was amazing value for money! Loved the hot tub, had all the essentials for a stay and was super clean. All our communication with Kris was spot on and although we didn’t need to contact them during our stay, there was plenty of info etc and any problems said to get intouch so they could sort. Percy Wood is a quiet place in a great location, not like your usual Haven/Butlins and thats why we like it and return time and again, we would definitely come back to this cabin to stay

We did have to buy some scrubbing pads to do the washing up, so would be handy to have some at the property already

Percy woods was lovely and ideal to get to Bamburgh, Alwick and Farne Isles. Property allowed us to bring our dog and was reasonably priced in comparison to others of similar size on site. Central heating worked lovely (gas fire was impossible to get lit) The hot tub was lovely but was not hot first night so only 2 out of 3 days usage.

Upon arrival hot tub was cold. Sadly Kris denied it was possible to be cold and implied it was somehow just us complaining. Next day it was checked (after we left it heating up all night) Cleaners left bottle top in bottom of tub (some strange foreign larger! ) and also said we had used the tub!! This was really upsetting after not being able to use hot tub on first night. Kris owner has Ring CCTV at door so wy didn't he check if we did? Instead of being pompous and accusational? Also could really do with a deeper clean. When we arrived as we couldn't use hot tub we looked at info folder in caravan and walked down to bar/restaurant which was shut/closed down. We then walked to village shop as per the info.... to find it had closed down over 6 months ago too. Needs updating.

Tv not functioning in bedroom

Hot tub was lovely and hot and in a great location. Good privacy while in the hot tub. Games in the living room were great fun and plenty of things to watch on the Tv with all the different apps.

No tea towels provided, (although seems small I like to be able to clear away once done with things) asked if this could be dropped off during our stay and they never were. Didn’t bother chasing this up as we were only there Friday till Sunday. Tv in the bedroom - the remote had no batteries and then when coming to use the TV turns out the aerial was broken. Needs more attention to cleaning, carpet had a wrapper on and coin which I did leave there, bathroom sink had bits of hair in which could be easily wiped away if there was abit more attention given. Hot tub area was covered in leaves and could tell it had not been swept that day which could have made the place look tidier.

Faultless. Great instructions for an easy stay. Setting wonderful and within reach of local attractions. Clean and tidy and the hot tub made it even more relaxing. Will book again without hesitation and next time intend to make use of the golf course
