Midcentury Modern - central location to all

The interior of the rental is very tastefully decorated and corresponds well to the pictures (while the exterior is unrenovated and does not inspire confidence, at first we thought we were at the wrong address). The very friendly and responsive owners have certainly put a lot of thought and effort into designing the interior.

However, we didn't feel comfortable in the accommodation as the neighborhood did not seem to be very accomodating. The area is rather run down, the neighbor's dog was on a leash next to the property and howled at us when we arrived, to make long story short: not an area you would want to stay for longer. In fact, during our stay, someone tried to break into our rental car during the night, with the result that the rental company locked the car from a distance with an electronic immobilizer. After spending the next morning on the phone with the rental company, our car had to be towed and we left Columbus a few hours later than planned in an Uber (and not in our rental car). Hopefully this was an unfortunate and isolated incident, but we will not be returning.
