The Shack Hot Tub Outdoor BBQ Russian River

The Shack is a very clean, comfortable and quiet place. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower has wonderful water pressure. We really loved the big skylight in the living area. It was lovely to look up and watch the rain coming down. The property is beautiful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were disappointed that the fireplace was unusable. We understand it's because of an ordinance but since it was advertised, was one of the reasons we booked the house.

Very quiet and private location and the kitchen was well-stocked and organized. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was powerful and hot. Great large couch for lounging. Hot tub in the backyard was peaceful (although the cover was in very rough shape.) if it was warmer it would have been nice to spend time in the yard.

The towels were threadbare and the bathroom was in desperate need of an update. There were no larger towels for the hot tub. The location was deep into a very windy road so it takes about 10 min to get to River Road.

Great secluded location in the middle of the redwood forest, very clean, spacious and peaceful.

What breakfast? The hot tub was wonderful. The sofas were comfortable and the beds were great.

The general condition needs several repairs.

Very nice house surrounded by the redwoods. The landscaping was beautiful and warm. Very large kitchen space as well as the living /TV area. The kitchen was nicely equipped with utensils, pots/pans and spices. The back yard is a good size with an excellent BBQ grill and hot tub. The front yard has a large table with chairs. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning sitting at the comfortable chairs at the front porch.

Very little could have been better. The bedrooms are a bit small but utilizing that space for the kitchen and living area was a good trade off. Sharing the house with another couple would be a challenge with the one small bathroom. A couple of comfortable chairs in the back yard area would be a good addition.

Beautifully landscaped yard, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was adequately equipped, comfy beds.

Would have loved if there were more towels, blankets and pillows. The towels were old and seemed poor quality, and there just weren't enough. With no laundry option on site, it would be great if they provided more. Also would be great if there were curtains in the bedrooms for sleeping comfort. The rooms get very bright in the morning! Otherwise, no complaints! Gorgeous home. Would def book again!
