Walpole Bay 2 bed Stunning Garden Apt By Adliv

The location was superb, both to park the car on the street outside for free and then to walk into Cliftonville (5 mins) or Margate (10 mins). It was super windy whilst we were there (end May), there is a front lower terrace which will be a lovely cool outside space to use when the summer hits! A few minutes walk away was the Tom Thumb Theater which has an upstairs bar / cocktail bar open to fairly late - highly recommenced and in pictures!

A second bathroom / shower room / toilet would complete what is otherwise a fantastic apartment.

This is a very nice flat. Good size, comfortable, well equipped, clean, quiet. It was good for our dog, £30 for the four nights was fine. Most of the floors were hard. The location is great: Grass, and promenade and beaches right outside the flat. The Crescent is really quiet. We parked on the road but never had a problem parking directly outside flat for free. We found all the catch up channels and Netflix, Prime on the TV. One evening we came in wet and put the thermostat up for an hour and the flat warmed up immediately.

There was some confusing paperwork which had to be done before we could have key code. Three times we tried to access the site to add the information (photo ids) and it responded 'Houston we have a problem'. Eventually we attached photos of our ids to an email. We have never encountered this on Booking.com before. We were given no. 6 as the address and spent ten minutes trying to break into the basement flat at no. 6. We couldn't actually find a number on the right apartment block. This is a basement flat. There is a small courtyard for sitting outside but I wouldn't call it a garden and you can't see anything over the walls except sky. The gravel is probably not the best for dogs.

Really comfortable flat. Great furniture, beds, kitchen appliances. Loved the small gardens. Loved that it is dog friendly but is really clean. Great location. Easy parking.

Would prefer if the shower height was higher.

Internet was a bit hit and miss

The basement apartment is absolutely wonderful , it has absolutely everything you need with exceptional quality and excellent cleanliness . There are lots of extra touches to it , including tea ,coffee milk etc on arrival and the added touch of biscuits , pop corn and crisps etc and a Halloween sweetie bag . Ade and Lee Ann are very welcoming and professional and follow up with an email after your first night to check everything was OK. I stay in many different apartments and hotels and apartment 2 is superb . The beds are comfortable and with the 2 court yard / gardens it's ideal for our small dog , children or if you just had adults here. There is a table and seats and also a bbq and outside lights . It's also opposite the beach and there are local shops and antique shops and restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk and close to a childrens play area .We will definitely return .
