Big house and expansive views.

I had a mixed experience that I feel compelled to share. While the property boasts ample space and a generous layout, there were several areas that need significant attention. The cleaning and maintenance standards fell short, with noticeable issues that detracted from my comfort. We saw and smelled rat droppings and urine in most rooms, which is concerning and should be addressed immediately. The towels provided were old and in need of replacement, offering less comfort than expected. Additionally, the maintenance of appliances is in doubt. The microwave made loud noises, which we were too scare to use and other appliances. There is no coffee maker. The shower water sprayed onto the toilet floor, leading to an inconvenient and uncomfortable experience. Lastly, the lack of curtains in the living room compromised privacy and contributed to the overall sense of neglect. The living room's doors are warped and could not closed easily, leading us only using the side door. While the size of the house is a definite plus, these maintenance issues overshadow the positives. I hope management takes steps to resolve these concerns, as the potential for a great stay is certainly there.

Wonderful view over the fields. Nice view of Geysir, we could see it spout from inside the property. However, that will soon be obstructed by the trees growing along the road. Great spot for exploring the Golden Circle. Equipped with a washing machine and lots of other equipment.

No dishwasher. We were with 3 people so the property was indeed spacious. When staying with more than 5 people it'll get cramped downstairs. Plenty of beds though. The gravel road to the property is very bumpy, one needs to be careful. The coordinates on booking.com are off by 100 meters or so. However, we were sent the right coordinates the day before arrival. When leaving, all linnen and towels need to be dropped on a pile to male it easier for the cleaning crew. We've seen this in other venues but it is an extra activity on the checkout day. Part of the fence surrounding the deck was broken down and has been lying there for a long time. Looks sloppy.

niewielka kuchnia, brak zmywarki (ale to chyba standard na islandii). moim zdaniem warto dokupic kilka misek i szpatulke silikonowa; nalezy dopytac o zasady wywozu smieci

El sitio, muy tranquilo y la casa confortable.

La basura: nos llegó un mensaje el último día diciendo que se debe reciclar. El problema es que no hay infraestructura para ello en la casa (contenedores o cubos diferentes). No hay info de qué hacer con la basura, al final la tiramos a los contenedores de Geysir. Además había una caja con basura de los anteriores inquilinos en el cuarto de la lavadora, muy desagradable. Un sólo baño para una casa con capacidad para hasta 9 personas. La ubicación: en la publicidad dice Selfoss, pero cuando llegas compruebas que está a 50min en coche de Selfoss. No hay supermercados cerca, tienes que irte a un Minimarket en Reykholt a 20km
