Great apartment in an excellent location, everything in the city was within a 10 minute walk. The included parking space in the underground garage was super convenient. The elevator from the garage brought us right to the front door of the apartment. The apartment was well laid out, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. In addition to sending detailed arrival and parking instructions with photos to make self check in super easy, the host sent great information on restaurants, bars, and things to do in the area. Highly recommended!

The 5:00 PM check in time. The bedroom TV did not work but the living room TV worked fine.

Location is good (although you have to retrieve the key from a key safe across the road in a slightly dingy yard which didn’t feel particularly safe). The flat was a good size and layout.

The flat has a balcony but the door onto the balcony does not open (the lock appears to be broken). As a result, the only way to access the balcony is by climbing out of a window behind the sofa. The lighting in the hallway and sitting area is either not good or does not work; either lightbulbs are missing or you have to climb up onto a sofa in order to plug in the ceiling lights in the sitting area (which don’t appear connected to the mains electricity). Some of the lights in the kitchen area do not work at all. We also had to move the bed in order to be able to plug in one of the bedside lamps. (The headboard is not connected to the bed - it is just propped up between the bed and the wall.) The TV on the wall in the bedroom does not plug in - it just has wires hanging out of the wall (we didn’t want to use it but others might). There is almost nowhere to put anything or hang up clothing because all of the cupboards are stuffed with the host’s possessions. This includes spare bed linen and towels which have been stuffed into cupboards. We had to move things around and tidy up quite a bit before we could hang any clothing up. The washing machine was on when we arrived (at about 8:30 pm). We emptied it and it seemed to be sheets and towels from the previous guests. None of the bed linen had been ironed. It was all very rumpled (presumably because it is just stuffed into cupboards). The pillows are not good quality. There was no soap or washing up liquid/tablets provided. The flat hadn’t been cleaned very well and felt dirty; the shower water wouldn’t drain away well because the drain was blocked. The key to the front door sticks and sometimes we struggled to open or lock the front door to the flat. We contacted the host multiple times during our three night stay to raise some of the issues, but received no response at all.

Op het apartment is niets aan te merken , lekkere douche, de lakens uit de droogkast gehaald , bed ok, ruim en ideaale ligging , de aankomst is goed verlopen , het was even zoeken naar de juiste garagedeur , dankzij iemand die daar woont hebben we via de uitgang kunnen binnen rijden , gebeurd dikwijls volgens deze persoon ,

De sloten van het apartment een beetje olie geven , en de oven was zeer vuil , hebben we eerst uitgewassen .de zitruimte was zonder licht en ook de gang geen licht ,nu dit kan aan ons liggen omdat we het niet kennen , maar op onze vraag die we hebben gestuurd is geen antwoord gekomen .

Central. Flat was nice. Balcony is a bonus.

Finding the key and getting into garage was difficult. The garage door didn't work from the outside. Took us a while to get in and host not responsive when text or messaged about issue.

Parkeringsplass og lading til elbil. Sentralt plassert leilighet.

Elendig renhold og leiligheten er slitt og trenger renovering. Oppvaskmaskin er delvis ødelagt, garderobeskap i gang er ødelagt og full i rot. Sluk på bad feilplassert. Sengetøy og håndklær av elendig kvalitet.

The apartment is in a good location to visit Alesund and it’s nice to have a view over the water. The kitchen is nice and the apartment is spacious.

It's a bit complicated to locate the lock box/key to get into the house, despite the host having lots of photos and instructions - booking.com App isn't great for sharing info. The apartment could have been cleaner as we felt compelled to vacuum before we moved in.
