Not a lot to like - location maybe

Disappointment masquerading as a vacation rental. Let’s run down all the fun. The AC Sadness The listing advertises “air conditioning,” which is technically true if you plan to spend your entire trip standing directly under the one functioning wall AC unit in the living room. Anywhere else — especially the bedrooms — was brutally hot. I had some genuinely miserable nights of sleep here. I woke up drenched in sweat multiple nights like I was recovering from a tropical fever. This was in April, not peak summer. The Kitchen Sadness The kitchen setup was equally disappointing. Tiny undersized stove despite plenty of room for a normal one. Minimal cookware. Minimal dishes. Minimal silverware. Cooking even basic meals for three people was unnecessarily difficult. And somehow the place managed to be less stocked than a college dorm room: None of the basic equipment you find in many rentals: salt or pepper, bottle opener, can opener, corkscrew, toaster, toaster oven, most normal cooking utensils, or even a microwave. The sugar container was a solid brick from humidity. The garbage can was tiny. And the final astonishment: No drawers or cabinets AT ALL — just a sink, a tiny counter beside it, another small counter near the fridge, and that was basically the entire kitchen storage situation. The oven required manual lighting — fine — except there were no matches or lighter anywhere. The Bathroom Sadness <not enough room to share this> The Price Sadness What really makes this amazing is the price. You pay premium vacation-rental rates for the privilege of being hot, uncomfortable, sleep-deprived, and unable to comfortably cook, sleep, or relax. Even at a quarter of the price, this place would still feel unfinished and poorly equipped. The Overall Regret I regret booking this place and would never stay here again.

It was very comfortable and the customer service from David was first class. We loved to be a location right across from the beach and a lovely restaurant right below.

It would be nice to have AC in the bedrooms, but we kept the AC on in the living room and the bedroom doors open to keep the heat down.

A very nice view and great to be across the road from Mann beach. Got to see plenty of sea lions on the beach whilst enjoying a nice lunch. A short 10/15m walk into town. Clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Host arranged a taxi to collect us from the port, felt very well looked after.

A mirror outside of the bathroom one would be helpful.

The view is nice, the location is great (very close de Playa Mann), the bed is comfortable, the kitchen is good for preparing breakfast, good communication. We had to pay cash for the staying- just be aware of this.

Paying by cash was not very convenient, but since the place was nice and we had a good communication with the host, everything was ok. If you have mobility issue, there are stairs to the apartment.

Located very close to the beach and restaurants

Spacious, clean, quiet, well-equipped, and private apartment steps away from the best snorkelling beach and a short walk to town. The host, David, and his son are very responsive and helpful. They tried their best to make our stay comfortable.

The listing states "cash not accepted," but we were asked to pay cash. The living room was flooded during heavy rain.
