A Private room in city center in Bratislava

I like cheap traveling and know the other sides it has , but what this. 1 hour to find the key (al the photos where wrong). Need to open te lower door like ur breaking in. No lock on the room. Everything looks like shit en so i feel the Morning I woke up. Looked like there was somebody living in a backroom in the apartment and she was maken noise and music the whole night. Also see tryed to enter my room 2 times around 1 and 3. I havent sleeped so that makes 2 das of my holiday shit because tonight I need to miss a city because I feel like shit. ‼️do never book this apartment‼️

You are informed of the tourism tax 2 hours prior to arrival to pay it via bank transfer. Normally this should be included in price or after you book. They put the key a bit away from the flat (accessible by tram). A lot of locks and lacking of information which one of them. For short stay it is worth

Liked - it was clean Disliked: *The keys are in a lock box several minutes walk away. It took a while to find as it is attached to a bicycle stand along with several other unmarked lock boxes. *False advertising. The room is set up on booking.com so that it comes up as being a bedroom and bathroom to yourself when you filter by that criteria. It is also given as being a property highlight that you have your own room and bathroom. It isnt: the single toilet and shower are shared with the other rooms. *Only 1 loo roll was provided for me and the four other people staying there! *The mattress needs replacing as you can feel the springs. *Apartment is on the 2nd floor which is fine but the lights on the stairs only work intermittently and the wooden section of the stairs is in a dangerous condition with broken and sagging trends. *At 11.30pm someone noisily came into the apartment carrying a bicycle which was left in the kitchen. *Walls are extremely thin so I could hear everything from the family of 4 in the next room (possibly they are living there?). *It's not the fault of the owner but the family let their 2 children walk around the communal area naked. *I had paid for 2 nights but left after 1 as the stairs were dangerous and the bathroom situation wasnt as advertised. *As a lone female traveller, the street it is on did not feel safe after dark. When I went out (8pm Sunday) there was a drunk lady urinating on the pavement 3 meters from the front door and a man urinating up the side of a car. There is a police station a few doors down, but the police stood outside smoking seemed completely unphased by it. I reported all of the above to booking.com and they sent me a standard response apologising that the cleaning standards weren't to my expectations. I never mentioned cleaning in my complaint.... In fact the only positive thing I can say about the place is that it was clean

central place, clean rooms, easy to access and safe rooms

it is something minor and easily can be fixed: the bathroom shower head was broken.
