Lakefront Cottage w/ Private Beach- Niagara

Code given for door didnt work, he just kept telling me ‘it should’ until I got him to come there, tv not connected to anything, just a fixture in a room, lots of dirty spaces and unkept lawn

My family liked the access to the lake for fishing and views of Lake Ontario.

The property needed to be mowed. We did not have the right amount of bathroom line we for the number of people in the home.

I enjoyed the lake view and all the different rooms. It was very cozy

The bathroom and shower was pretty small and it was difficult to cook in the morning with there only being one old pan.

The house is right by the lake, and the sunset is beautiful

Very poorly maintained. 1. The washer and dryer were stuffed with linens and awful smells. I was told that they were off-access for guests. However. there were no identifying signs indicated no access to washer and dryer. And the terrible smells made me question the cleanliness of the linens they provided. 2. One of the beds was broken when I lay down. I almost got injured. And I'm only 130lb!! 3. None of the bedside lamps worked. In one room, there was no accessible outlet. In the second room, the lamp didn't work after plugging in. 4. We were charged $30 pet fee. However, on the booking website, it said "Pets FREE! NO EXTRA CHARGE!". The owner replied that they did not go by what the booking said. But, is it the owner's responsibility to ensure every detail listed is correct?
