Viking Line ferry Viking XPRS - One-way journey from Helsinki to Tallinn

The private balcony from my room was amazing! Such a beautiful way to see Helsinki and Stockholm. Lovely breakfast! Staff were very nice :)

Really interesting experience. Did not know that with booking one way journey I'll get three way journey Helsinki - Tallinn - Helsinki - Tallinn. Yes, you actually are not docked in Tallinn overnight but you sail back to Helsinki and back to Tallinn. Cabin is really small and basic.

Bad information for first time travellers on this route in cabin. The premade bed is hidden with no instructions and you think it's note made and you miss the towels. They show you how to turn the "sofa" into bed. Bathroom was clean but totally wet, especially the floor so you don't know where and how to step. Disembarkation in Tallinn at 5.45 is an unpleasant experience. They do knock at your door at 5.30 that it's time to leave the ferry, but when you get out of the cabin it's a ghost town. No stuff anywhere, no signs where to disembark and also no other passengers disembarking. Only when you find the right "gate" to disembark there is a sign to get to another gate. You don't know how much time you have and you really get stressed how to get off the ferry. At the end when you get off and got to the departure terminal you realise you had another half an hour or even more left. So, for someone travelling for the first time ask for the way to the gate (not just the deck!) to disembark and remember it as at 5.45 am you won't see no staff anywhere if you are going to need help.

It was on the boat! Nice, comfortable and tidy! There are no other places like that I think. Check-in was fast, we made it from the airport and check-in took us like a couple of minutes.

No hairdryer, but it is no dealbreaker. And early check out forced us to spend couple of hours in Tallinn port.

Full of surprises for me when I was only expecting accommodation and transport from helsinki to Stockholm. It turns out to be a very amazing experience from dining, to entertainment to the morning view of archipelago

Check out time in Estonia was 05.30 and there's absolutely nothing to do in Tallinn at that time and nothing is open. Watch out for that and unless you have plans, you'll be hanging around in the cold and dark for a couple of hours when you get off the boat before things open.

We are doing this route every summer to get from Finland to Sweden and vice versa, all was ok, as expected
