The bed is so inconfortable

What else one may want for a romantic week in Madrid? A mature couple felt there like in home :)

Well, the soundproofing there is non existent… so the question is, should we care about that?

A typical Madrid building, spacious, quiet, fantastic location in lively restaurant area, close to metro, market, shops...

Windows open out onto a courtyard (but this is how buildings were built), dated furniture. Previous renters had smoked there.

The apartment was spacious and had a slo a kitchen that was good to use during our stay. Together with living room, bedroom and bathroom it made a complete apartment comfortable to host two person. Although the pirce we.paid wasn't cheap for the period of the year before Epiphany it was quite okay and better than elsewhere. We found a little breakfast box packed with useful things for breakfast. also the location is quite good with a bakery and supermarket at 2min walk and a bit fresh market not far. also it is walking distance to the subway, palace and the famous LA Latina and Plaza Mayor

The entrance to the apartment was confusing and a bit unpleasant since there was two doors after the main door. We accidentally or because we didn't know better tried the wrong door which then was locked after that. There was an unpleasant smell of dog from that door and in that connecting corridor. When we entered, the wifi code provided through the previous communication in the app wasn't working and we had to contact the owner. Also was the apartment too hot and apparently the heating is connected with the other apartment with the dog so we could not switch off the heating or regulate the temperature. The bed is a little small to hold two people and the mattress uncomfortable. there was no natural daylight coming into the apartment or no real view to the outside which made it a bit dark and enclosed

It was simple, nice and clean, excellent location.

There was only one knife, one fork, one spoon; difficult considering we were a couple.

Location is very good: very quiet street within walking distance from several metro stations, surrounded with bars and cafes, also Dia ( supermarket) is open till 10 in the evening. 7 days a week. Very good cheese store right near the place. The apartment itself is warm and cosy, with washing machine and fancy dishes and glasses. Of cause, wi-fi, refrigerator, microwave, etc. Nice old house! Very good inplression!

Excellent central location . Supermarket and a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby. Quiet street. Accommodation felt safe and secure. It was very clean , furnishing was tired but overall it was good value.

A few small inexpensive changes would make a big difference. There are no blinds or curtains in bedroom. Frosted glass only so while it was private it was light in the morning. Duvet was thin for winter.We used the single duvet for the other bed which was small. The heating came on but was erratic. A couple of lamps would make it feel cozy.

Apartment location, quietness,host is very responsive,perfect for short and long stays,apartment got everything you need. Overall a very good and happy stay indeed
