Dos Hermanas Casita 6 Downtown Courtyard Patio

Lack of aesthetics. Lack of comfort. Lack of security. No one on the premises. Safety issues.. refrigerator turned into a freezer. No security bars in the shower. No desk and chair. No Work Space. Couldn't reach a glass for a week. The shelves were so high, and there was no stepstool.

The check out time was 10am not 1pm as listed. I had booked a morning tour so this was a problem for me. I emailed several times with no reply. I finally called. The host wanted proof of the incorrect checkout time so I sent him a screenshot which he wasn’t able to view. He then requested additional proof so I emailed him the reservation confirmation. He then let me stay till noon. The in room air conditioner was stuck on 62 degrees. It blows directly onto the bed so I was very cold. When I told the host this (while discussing the incorrect check out time), his reply was maybe the batteries weren’t working.

Beautiful property, unique rooms, amazingly comfortable beds! Location was great with everything we wanted within walking distance

Only thing missing for me was an iron and ironing board

The location is excellent. I enjoyed walking to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and around the block to Mille for a French breakfast. The unit had a kitchen that is well stocked. However, I didn't use it. I enjoyed having the back door open to the small patio in the back to allow in the fresh Santa Fe breeze. It was a pleasure staying there.

It would have been nice to have some decaf coffee. Check out at 10 am is a little early.

Amazing casita very close to the Plaza and also Santa Fe River. The room was exactly as described and pictured in the ad. Very comfortable studio with a full kitchen and all the necessary tools/kitchen ware to cook a meal. The bed was a king (I think a California king) size and it was very comfortable; we stayed a week from July 15-July 21. The casita also have a small private patio with 2 chairs and a table, perfect if you bring a dog. The bathroom was comfortable and included all the necessary toiletries and makeup towels. Check-in and check-out was breeze and Mo (owner) was an email or phone call away. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Santa Fe (which we plan to do a couple of time as a year ☺️)

The only two things to note that need a bit of improvements are: 1- wi-fi: the signal was spotty at times and you would get disconnected multiple times when using your phone, iPad, and 2- A/C: A/C was not very powerful, unless you are right in front of it (located in the bedroom area) and it doesn’t seem to cool the entire living room area/kitchen. They do have a pedestal fan which we would leave on circulating the air and felt pretty good. We stayed during and unusually warm weather for Santa Fe standards, so maybe any other time the A/C works fine. Other than these two things which were not a del breaker since we spent most of our times hiking and exploring the town, this is a great place to stay.
