Solymar Sun & Beach Deluxe Apartments

The location is great, 2 minute-walk from the beach! The equipment is nice and the bed comfortable. There is a washing machine and a Nespresso machine. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and very clean except for 2 remarks in the section below. It's not a negative thing for me, but just something to know: there is no laundry detergent, no sponge for the dishes, and no shower gel/shampoo. (There is no mention of these in the description, so it's totally okay that we did not have these items.) The communication with the host was perfect.

The only remarks we have for improvement: - the floor was not very clean, so we used the broom when we arrived (the rest of the apartment was perfectly clean!) - the towels were clean but smelled a bit of cigarette Apart from these 2 minor comment, we loved our stay :)

Prior to my arrival I was sent a video of how to access the key for entry to the apartment. This put my mind at rest as a single traveller. I had a welcome whats app message on arrival and during the week I also had a further message advising me of places of interest to visit. The accommodation had everything I needed, facilities were excellent. On arrival in the evening, I had tea, coffee, water, milk and snacks left for me. Location is excellent with easy access to beach, town, shops, restaurants and promenade.

As a solo female traveller I didn't stay out late in the evenings! There is a restaurant opposite which opens late at weekends and I did find it a little noisy on the Saturday night, which again I probably wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't alone. Apart from that tiny noise issue, I have no complaints.

The location was perfect, near to the beach with a number of good restaurants, bars and shopping in close proximity. There was even a bus stop nearby if you wanted to explore more of the area.

There was nothing to dislike.

Great modern roomy apartment, 2 large bathrooms, decent balcony all mod cons in kitchen. Close to beaches, old town , plenty of free parking if you need it , 2 small supermarkets close by and not noisy at night. Host is really great and helpful would definitely stay there again.

Apartment was beautifully presented, very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The only negative was the noise from the street collecting bottles etc at 5am.

The apartment is bright and clean, very close to the beach and city center, supermarket is just downstairs, easy check-in process.

Great location very quiet near the beach

The lock on the outside door needs to be changed as it can be difficult to open most times.

The apartment is very modern with a spacious Kitchen, Dining, Lounge area, large Balcony, large excellent bathroom with large walk in shower, we loved this apartment. Excellent communication with the host. We liked the location which was an easy walk to the local beach approximately 200 meters from the apartment. There are lots of local restaurant in easy walking distance, also an excellent Indian restaurant directly across the road from the apartment. The old town is an easy walk from the apartment with all of its charm.

Nothing We were Travelling by car and parking is very difficult in Nerja.

We are very pleased with our staying in Nerja in Solymar apartment. It was very nicely arranged, had everything we could wish for (especially thankful for the chairs and the umbrella for the beach). It’s located near the beach and has two markets and many restaurants in the area. I highly recommend it ! I hope we will have a chance to visit again!
