I spent one night at Manado Green hostel before heading to Bunaken island. The location of the hostel is really good and the owner is really helpful 😊 He drove me to the public boat and offered some fresh mango for breakfast 😊 Dorm is quite basic but there is everything you need, also airconditioning 😊

The bathroom could have been more clean.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. -there's water refill available - there's also a kitchen one can use (doesn't have a stove though) - very close to the promanade - hot shower - once I was reaching very late and they were very kind to have stayed up to check me in at that time (midnight)

- wifi doesn't reach the rooms - the kitchen area occasionally had a foul smell coming from the trash - When I stayed there the first time, there was no one at the reception for hours (during check-in hours). I was new to the country, I had no local sim card, wifi password was not listed anywhere. It was very frustrating

Close from the mega mall by walking and from the port by grab, clean dorm, kitchen 👌🏻

bed was SO comfy and such a good hot shower. can’t really go wrong for the price!!

just really needed a clean and the cupboards fixed

It’s a good option for a night before to go to Bunaken Island (it was the cheapest option). The room is big enough, me and my boyfriend were in a share dorm with 4 beds but we were alone. Big locker! Free water and coffee. Staff is nice. 17 minutes by walk to the port.

To doing the check-in it took 30 min. I don’t know why! They were looking something at the computer without saying nothing. Maybe they were checking but 30 min (?) The wifi didn’t work in the room, it was working only in the 1st floor in the kitchen area. They should improve the cleaning in the bathroom and in the room as well. Under the sink was FULL of mosquitos. Too humidity maybe (?) No toilet paper. The rooms are literally in the main street so REALLY noisy until late night. You can hear anything like you’re on the road. For the same price you can get something better in other places.
