I need to express a significant concern about our recent stay. Throughout our six-night visit, we were repeatedly disturbed at sunrise on five out of those mornings due to the disturbingly loud construction work happening right across from our accommodation. Sadly, the hosts failed to provide any prior warning about this ongoing construction, which was deeply disappointing. What made this situation even more frustrating was the lack of support and concern from the hosts. Their response consisted of offering us a pair of "earplugs," which, given the substantial amount we had paid for our holiday, felt like an inadequate solution. We had hoped for either a change of accommodation, considering the hosts manage numerous properties in Syracuse, or some form of refund. In retrospect, if we had known about this situation in advance, we might have reconsidered our booking altogether. The construction work in question appeared to be a lengthy project, involving the renovation of an entire building. This is essential information that the hosts should have disclosed to potential guests. This unfortunate experience was made worse by the lack of understanding and assistance from the hosts. Without this issue, our stay would have been enjoyable. I feel compelled to share this review as a caution to other travelers.
