Luang Prabang Pavilion Hotel & Travel

Pool area is nice, breakfast is good. Room is big and comfortable.

There is a whiteboard with all services provided, including e.g. currency exchange. However when I asked about possibility to exchange USD to LAK, the staff just stated "no" and was not helpful at all. The location is also a bit of a walk from e.g. night market. Maximum shower water temperature is not very warm.

The location is great, very convenient and walkable. The room was clean and had all the basic requirements. The breakfast was simple but delicious, and we liked the options. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean and a good size. The ladies who prepared breakfast and cleaned the rooms were friendly :)

The shower flooded through to the toilet and basin area in our room. One of the staff members who worked be on the front desk in the mornings was a bit rude, more interested in videos on his phone than guests. The rest of the staff were lovely though. The wifi wasn’t very good - lots of different ones to connect to but all seemed weak in the room.

Close to the historic centre, easily walkable. Comfortable, nice pool are, very friendly and helpful staff. Lee gave us a useful map on check in and explained how to get to the main sites. You can book trips their too. Good breakfast too!

The hotel is located in a good spot, close to different restaurants, museums and the hill. The owner helps you organise the waterfall tour which is great.

The room wasn’t very clean and it smelled of something bad. The toilet was also smelly. You could hear the neighbours a lot in the room. Also, I understand that there are different cultures etc. but there should be limits to how loud they are allowed to be. For example, we were at the breakfast (which btw was disgusting) and a group of Chinese tourist was shouting to the point that one of French tourists had to get up and ask them to be quiet - no action from the staff. Last one, they overcharge massively on the train tickets.
