Apartamento Boutique Kala Ático

The apartment is small but well appointed, with a bedroom, an ample living room, a bathroom and a kitchen area. There is also a wonderful roof terrace that can be reached via a steep staircase (be careful going up and down the steps!). The area is very quiet as it is away from the main thoroughfare of the city, which can be reached in 10-15 minutes by foot. The apartment is very nicely decorated, the bed is excellent and very comfortable and the shower is fantastic! The roof terrace is a great place to have breakfast or a drink (we didn't try to have dinner upstairs). The host, Pablo, was very friendly and always available. He shared with us some information about Jerez and places to eat, have a drink, etc.

The front door to the apartment could do with a bit of oil and is not always easy to open (we figured after a while that if you pull the door towards you and up, the key turns effortlessly). The toilet seat is made of plastic and feels a bit fragile/rickety at times.

In relation to price rather cheap furniture in living room and kitchen. Equipment in kitchen just barely enough.

We wanted to follow all rules and be responsible guests. The few "signs with rules" were all in Spanish only and we don't speak Spanish. Maybe an English version might help.

A beautifully refurbished property, with great attention to details. It's been lovingly and thoughtfully restored. Good location.

Absolutely everything was wonderful! Pablo is a perfect host, he waited for us upon arrival with a bottle of wine, many tips about the city, with recommendations of restaurants and bars - he did everything to make us feel very comfortable. The apartment is very clean, nicely decorated, equipped with everything you could need, and the terrace is simply fantastic! The location is perfect, a few minutes from the center, right in the historic center. We felt at home from the first moment - thank you for everything, Pablo, we will definitely be back!

From the welcoming emails giving instructions onhow to get tto the property to the delightful decorations throughout, this property provided an unforgettable experience. The property is in an authentic barrio someway from the station. The taxi cost 5E, It is located in the oldest part of the town, just behind the San Mateo church and next door to the Palacio Riquelme and the Archeological museum on the old market square. The museum is well worth a visit. However the property is a bit of a hike (about 15 minutes) fromthe main attractions but we enjoy walking so that wasn't an issue for us. Pablo our host was most helpful and gaver us much help and and information. He even helped us find authentic (free) flamenco performances and book a taxi for the airport. Because it was not in a touristy area and because of this input, it felt more like staying with friends than just viositing a city. The property has recently been very tastefully renovated and is full of quirly and charming details as the photos show. It's a bit like walking into a fairytale. It's a flat full of stories waiting to be told... The original Andalucian tiles help keep it cook and the aircondtionaing and fbedrom fan work well. The upstairs terrace is great and has a hammock and shower as well as sofa, table and chair. Our experience was so good that we re-booked and stayed for another 4 nights!

This apartment is a project of love as it was recently completely refurbished by the owner (there are before photos in the entrance hallway) and his love and dedication shows through every corner of the floor. It's impeccably decorated creating such an inviting environment. They had a bottle of wine ready for us on arrival which was such a nice touch. The property managers Pablo and Antonio Luis are so kind and just a WhatsApp message away to provide all the info and recommendations you need while in Jerez. I would 100% stay here again.
