Yhteyttä pidettiin whatsapilla, mikä tuntui itselle vieraalta ja epäviralliselta, yhteydenpitoa ei hoidettu Booking.comin kautta. Välillä minulle vastattiin vain italiaksi, jota en ymmärtänyt, vaikka muuten asioitiin englanniksi. Yhteydenpito oli välillä epäselvää. Even though they gave good instructions, the down door didn't open for us and we just happened to be lucky, when someone game out of the building and let us in. We didn't get any explanation or condolences for that.

We ended up missing our bus and were stuck in the apartment for over an hour before another guest managed to open the door.

Płatność 30 euro ubezpieczenia w razie zniszczenia czegoś. Nie jest to zwracane.

The apartment is located in the central part of Lecco, close to the riverside. It is a standard apartment with a mini-kitchen. The car could be parked either along the street (but there are no spaces), or in the parallel street Via dell Isola (there are some free parking lots and a big parking lot which is free from 20.00 to 8.00)

First, of course, the check-in and inability to reach them on the phone (and it wasn’t even nighttime, just around 19.00). It is managed by a company, so the only communication you have is with a bot. If you book the apartment, please download all the instructions well before the check-in (the code for the locker from which you get the key), because if you happen to arrive there in the evening and have troubles with the internet connection, you will get no assistance. We tried to phone, but there was only answering machine (we were lucky to sort out the problem with the internet and find the code). The apartment itself is ok, but with lots of small details that spoil the impression (like mismatched kitchen utensils, induction stove with inappropriate pans and crooked steel disc, nowhere to put toilet paper in the bathroom, no curtains on the windows). All in all, ok to spend a couple of nights exploring the area.
