Weekend house in the Piva nature park

Amazing host, nice remote location, we felt very welcome.

The host was kind. I would have been due to arrive on foot after 01:00am, so he offered to pick me up and drive me to the holiday house. He also had cheese and Raki ready for me when he arrived. He chatted with me over breakfast which he had prepared. He showed interest in my trekking journey and he is interesting to talk to as well. Genuine rural hospitality, and of course the house is situated in a beautiful and precious natural landscape.

I didn't personally mind it, but of course some people might: I think there may be an issue with closing and locking the door. (I couldn't personally get it shut.) Although as the host says there is really nothing to fear (this is not a city, there are rather few people living in the area anyway).

We liked everything. If you are not fussy and tired of business and nois- this is the place for you. Owner was very kind and chatty. Holiday home has two levels. On the ground level is nice and not so hot. Very rustic.

Outstanding hospitality and beautiful nature This is an amazing place, calm and relaxing. We tasted traditional Montenegrin cuisine, home-made bread, fresh dairy products, excellent cheese, meat, vegetables, potatoes and prosciutto. Vesko is a very friendly and helpful host. He helped us organize our time and visit interesting places. We spent a lot of time mountaineering and hiking, enjoying beautiful views. We visited beautiful Piva Lake and the whole area is magnificent. We will for sure come back to this place where we had a great time! Thank you so much for your hospitality!
