Stunning Beach Themed 2 Bed Apartment

The property is in a fantastic location and a really nice walk to the beach through a gorgeous park. The flat was clean and well equipped with tea making facilities, big fluffy towels, comfortable beds and seating areas, a good sized fridge and lots of cupboard space. The pillows were so great, we went online and bought the same brand pillows. The shower is powerful and the bathroom light is bright enough to do make up. There’s lots of plug sockets. The flat is bright and airy but can be cosy just by adjusting the heating element on the thermostat. We really enjoyed our sleep. No noise and really comfortable beds. Enjoyed the small touches like Netflix and the breakfast bar for enjoying a meal.

Minor touches like paint damage but nothing that bothered us.

Location was great, quick access to everything and everywhere prominent.

The apartment did look great on a first look but had a horrible sleep on the first night during our 2 night stay. Looked like the road just below the bedrooms turn into garbage collection on Sunday nights and felt like they are talking loud just next to our ear till 3 or 4 am ! Microwave was missing though the owner offered to deliver it next day which we declined, but the microwave meal planned for the first night for the kids could not be of use ! Also all the coffee mugs had stains and kettle still had water from previous use ! Bathroom looked great , but doesn’t have a shower curtain and is just an open tray and not tub, hence after the first day shower it was a total mess to use it the next day ! Also the common area was scary, looked like we are the only one in the building..

The property was right in the centre of town which was great. It was well presented and very clean on the inside. The decor was very well done. Everything in the kitchen was great, clean and what was needed.

The communal area of the property needed a good clean from the carpet on the stairs going up to the property and the cobwebs on the window on the stairs and the ceiling outside the front door of the property. A thorough clearing of this area would help making the property more welcoming.

It was prime location for what we were looking for. The bed in the bedroom of the hallway was so comfy.

We didn’t like the communal area it was very run down with a bad smell, first impressions was not good. Which is a shame because the property itself is lovely.
