"Our reservation was cancelled as there was apparently a double booking."

We booked this property for three nights but when we turned up someone was already there. Surprise! We were left trying to find alternative accommodation at 8-9pm at night with several very tired children. After finding a dodgy last minute place nearby, we were then told at 11pm that we could check in here the next day but then they completely cancelled on us the next morning so I again had to find somewhere else for our family to stay. It really spoilt our visit to Weligama.

"Spacious and comfortable villa"

The villa was very worth it for its price point. There were working AC units in each of the bedrooms (none in the common area but you don't need it, plus there are fans). The wifi at the villa was also working and very fast. The host was very accommodating in letting us check-in early and was already waiting for us by the time we got there. He gave us his WhatsApp number in case we needed anything. There is a spacious kitchen and fridge for groceries and snacks. The villa is a bit further away from the main beach but you can easily hail a tuk on the road (or just walk). Would highly recommend staying here!
