The Pearl Cage Gigiri-Near US Embassy

Very good value for money, host extremely pleasant and reliable, and very good location with walking distance to the United Nations Compound, in a very safe area.

The place is relatively small, which wasn't an issue for me as I basically needed a bed. Shower room also quite small.

Excellent place in a peaceful, quiet neighbourhood, near the UN office and various embassies. Host was as courteous as you can get, they even welcomed me by driving me to buy groceries! Very neat and tidy room, toilet and kitchen which they cleaned everyday with the bedsheets changed all the time. Reminded me in the morning to take an umbrella for upcoming rain. Sorry I misplaced the umbrella!

Was a bit difficult to find by typing the name of the place into Google, so had to call. But it was my fault not checking the actual address on the booking.com page for my reservation.

Best for those who are okay with small places, it's very clean and cosy with reliable Wi-Fi. Joylene is a lovely host. Very secured place, just a couple of minutes away from the UN offices.

It could've been a one-off but was woken up by kids running around outside.
