Stunning place and so quiet😍 Cleanliness is 10/10.. Hot tub fab and to look out over the fields first thing in the morning is lovely🥰 So comfy and welcoming😀 Cutest basket left with our porridge,orange juice, crisps and croissants in it😍.. also a jar of mini cookies to indulge in😍 would definitely recommend😍

Hot tub was great fully covered so can use in all weather. Large kitchen and good facilities if you needed to cook .

Lovely location, very peaceful and easy to get into the city. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, and probably one of the best showers! We enjoyed the little treats the host left for us for breakfast.

My only request would have been a cafetiere as we like our fresh coffee in the morning, but otherwise no complaints!

The most perfect little lodge! Also the most well equipped lodge i’ve stayed in (and i’ve done many across the UK, as we love a lodge break!). The hideaway has everything you could ever need in terms of amenities and equipment, we brought toiletries and stopped off for breakfast supplies and tea/coffee etc… but on arrival all toiletries and tea/coffee/breakfast supplies were provided! You can literally turn up at the hideaway with a bag of clothes, toothbrush and charger, and you will be good for everything else! The decor and supplies were excellent quality, down to the hand soaps, towels, cushions etc… even has an airfryer! You can really tell that so much thought has gone into every aspect of making the Hideaway a great place for guests to stay! It was easy to hire a car from the airport and drive there, within 15-20minutes drive of everywhere we needed/wanted to go. It was also easy to get a local taxi for a night experiencing the town! The hot tub was lovely, and the outside space was so serene and peaceful, particularly having your morning cuppa listening to the nearby animals and watching the windturbines in the distance. The host, Gill, was extremely helpful for any slight correspondence needed and quick to resolve the minimal issue we had with the key code (my phone internet was a bit sketchy and i hadn’t got the message with the new code but quickly rectified by Gill). Gill checked in with us (in a non-intrusive way) and made sure we were comfortable and knew we could just drop her a quick message if we needed anything and she was very responsive. Although the hideaway was connected to a house/ farm area we didn’t see another person on the grounds during our stay, or as we came and went, so it didn’t feel uncomfortable, we had a private entry way and parking, easy self check in/check out process. It was an absolute delightful stay and we will 100% be returning!

There was nothing to dislike about the property at all, my only feedback which is simply a couple of points to ever so slightly improve stays (but absolutely by no means is a complaint in any way) would be: - if planning on cooking, hideaway has a very well equipped kitchen but just missing a sharp knife for food prep (easily remedied as there are steak knives you could use instead) - we stayed during the hotter 20°+ weather, and the thermostats were all set to 24° and locked, we couldn’t work them to unlock which made it very warm at night, even when we thought we had managed to do it, it stayed 20°+ on the thermostat. Could do with a printed instruction sheet in the welcome book to show how to adjust the thermostats/temp (i know this is a very rare problem as the weather is more likely to be cold than hot) -pillows on the bed are very flat, even with 2 pillows, potentially having the option of an extra 2 fluffier/bigger pillows that people can add/remove may increase comfort (i just put the show cushions under the pillows which helped prop them up more, so again did not really affect our stay)
