Nomad's Augusta Collection Lisbon

Really loved the central location, close to shops, transport, restaurants. We could walk to the nearest best supermarket Amanhacer, in 10 mins. Only a few minutes walk to Rossio metro for the airport. Literally a stones throw from the Elevador and short walks to many sights including the castle (uphill). 15/20 mins walk to Alfama. Buses close by for the Tile Museum, Belem by tram, so getting around is easy but the best thing is to walk if you can and soak it all up. With the windows open you could catch some Lisbon atmosphere and hear the bustle in the street below but not too noisy and the area felt safe. Patisseries, coffee shops, gelateria all on Rua Augusta. Although the flat is on the 6th floor there is a lift so it was convenient and easy. Super helpful hosts responded to queries very quickly. The apartment looks great and has lovely comfy beds, two bathrooms and our family of two adults and two young adults were well catered for.

If you are tall consider that there are areas of the bedrooms and living space where you may hit your head. Getting up in the night is a little tricky even for average height! The stairs up to the roof -space bedroom are a little scary with no banister or balustrade, it may not be suitable for all. Our teen daughter loved it, but it wasn't for me! The lounge furniture and space is not really sufficient, seating only 3 at a push on a fairly uncomfortable sofa. But this is urban apartment living and really you just have to get out there and chill in a cafe! We would have found a folder with info about the apartment useful, as we had to contact the team to find out how to work the showers! But these are all small things and overall our stay was wonderful.

Location was amazing in a lively vibrant location, nice layout for a family and good views of the city. It was great to have an elevator for this top floor flat.

The location was excellent

The bedroom on the mezzanine floor was dangerous, the stairs leading to it were very narrow and that left a gap you could fall down. The apartment sleeps 6 but just a 3 seater settee. Not enough glasses. Also the shower was blocked but they did come and fix that!

Centrally right in the old town close walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

The glass between the toilet and the bedroom! It makes very uncomfortable using the toilet. When the one person using the toilet, the other must leave the room.

Very central location on a pedestrianised avenue that is filled with pavement cafes, shops etc. Lively but only until 11pm or so, quietens down quickly. The apartment had lovely views across the roof tops and stepping out of the door, a sweeping view to the Rua Augusta Arch and sea beyond. You can strike out on foot/tram to all the tourist spots easily enough but old Lisbon is compact enough to explore on foot and to take the less trodden paths. We were late arriving, train issues, but Joao waited patiently for us and took the time to show us around the apartment and it's appliances and was helpful with travel tips.

Everything was great - only thing we didn't have was a clothes airer to dry washing.

The Location was perfect for our first visit to Lisbon. the bedrooms were a nice size.

The settee could have been a bit more comfortable for relaxing on and maybe some coasters for the table.
