Mere View Loft, Bowness-on-Windermere

This was perfect. Fantastic location and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed at the flat. Would highly recommend.

Lots of extra care and thought has gone into consideration for guests. Such as a night light to the bathroom, arrival gifts. So well presented - pictures do not do it justice. The view from the living space is just breathtaking! So worth the expense of the stay for that alone!

The parking wasn’t ideal as another vehicle was parked in our spot the whole stay and only one other place to park was available some of the time. Neighbours slamming doors did wake our child up a few times. However both could not be helped by the host.

Beautifully presented, comfortable beds & clean. Had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

The apartment was lovely, very tastefully decorated throughout and the views from the kitchen and lounge were amazing. Great secure parking which was a bonus and the location was fab. The chocolate and Prosecco given on arrival were a nice touch.

Only very minor niggles were it could do with smaller coffee cups for the Nespresso machine and maybe providing more than 4 of each items such as plates, bowls etc. The velux window in the main bedroom was very loud when the rain was lashing down onto it in the middle of the night but you can’t change the great British weather!

Beautiful property with fantastic views.

We had a great week in this gorgeous apartment. It was warm, cosy, clean and beautifully designed. So many nice touches and well thought out for all you might need. As a coffee and TV addict the Nespresso machine and proper Sky TV was a bonus for me! The kids loved the games cupboard which had actual working games in that were in good condition and great fun. The kids also loved the sweet jar and hot chocolate and marshmallows. What lovely little extras to provide. I forgot my shampoo and conditioner but no bother - it was provided so I wasn’t stuck without until I bought more from the very local Tesco. Washing machine, dishwasher, drying rack, iron, laundry basket, fancy magnetic iPhone charger as well as phone charger wall sockets, the list goes on - all you need for an easy and home from home stay. Great location close to all the lovely things in Bowness and the view from the flat is just great. Thank you!
