Hacienda Iguana Surf & Golf apartment

We came here for surfing&golf trip. The place is just awesome, exactly like in the photos, with stunning view of lake . We really enjoyed, close to shops, restaurants and beaches. Everything clean. Cesar is very helpful and kind person. Definitely we will come back. Thank you a lit for beautiful stay in Hacienda Iguana:)

My parents in law went golfing and the room was near the 2nd hole

For some reason, the person we booked the room with was expecting us to magically know where to check in and the phone number provided was not an answered even after multiple calls. We ended up texting through booking and that did work but it was a very uncomfortable situation. Truly, one of the first instructions you need to provide is how to check in. It wasn’t an apartment, it was just a room. Good enough to have a roof on your head but it wasn’t an amazing experience inside the room. The facilities are nice but the golf course was a weird, the map was a chaos.

Super basic and functional.

From the pictures it appears to be near the club house / pool area. However it turned out to be behind the store, far from the club House, was not expecting that.

The room is located just next to a shop, so if you’re missing something you can buy it just around the corner. The staff in the shop, also is the person who you would do your check in and he is very friendly.

The room is very small and the doors doesn’t close properly for smaller animals. The room is very small, but the reason for this very bad review is that we found a lot of (big) ants in the bed. So we had to find a new place to stay late in the evening. They where very kind to refund us our second night, but still very expensive for the very small place with animals in the bed.
