BAITA LOVELY AND CENTRAL SAUZE D'OULX

We were met with a warm welcome by Caterina, who showed us round, the property was clean, modern and well furnished with some lovely little personalised touches including a bottle of fizz! The location was great for evenings as it was close to restaurants and bars all in walking distance. There is an uphill walk to the ski lifts which can we tiresome if you have littles ones, but depending on where you hire/store your ski you can get a bus up to the lifts for a fee (€2.50) definitely worth checking out in advance!

I wouldn’t really say there was anything that we disliked however there is no WiFi (we knew this before booking so wasn’t an issue) but maybe this is something that could be added in future? Oh and also no kettle but pans for boiling water so again not a major issue, although there was an Italian coffee maker which my partner loved!

Newly renovated property that has been tastefully done. Well equipped and in great central location. Our host Caterina was most helpful and welcoming.

Beautiful chalet, new and nice quality on the interior and it was equipped with everything we needed for our ski week. Dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer and washing machine. Really comfortable full size bed. Apartment is located in absolute city centre with all restaurants, bars and café’s available close by and with a private secured parking for the car with good space. Although in city centre near afterski this chalet is privately secluded and not disturbed by any sound. There is a really nice cafe next door, Caffè della Seggiovia, where you can buy breakfast if not making your own in the house. Small Carrefour nearby where you can buy necessary groceries. Only a 5 minute walk to the main ski lift of Clotes. Caterina is a lovely host who was very quick on replies and making sure our stay was 5 stars! Would definitely come back.

There was no Wi-Fi connection

The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. She organised our transfers for us. The chalet was really comfortable and had everything we needed, including a washing machine. There were some lovely touches - champagne on arrival!! The location is excellent, very close to the slopes and centre of town, but is still very private and quiet. The fence around it, meant it was very safe for the kids.

Everything was excellent, but we would have loved to have wifi. But we understand that it is not always possible. It had a smart TV which we were able to connect our phones to.
