The Brontë Wing at The Apothecary Rye

Lovely apartment, very centrally located in beautiful Rye. A 6 minute walk from the station and steps away from the main street of Rye Fantastic facilities, amazing, beautiful and high spec finishings and great showers!

Sometimes in life you get what you pay for, and although this wasn't the cheapest property it represents extraordinary value. The location was amazing - it was such a treat to gaze out of the huge curved windows in the corner of the living room (and the bedroom above) and to have a view down a road of gorgeous old houses and on to the open countryside in the near distance. There is an extraordinary generosity of spirit about the place, from the thoughtful welcome hamper to the quality of the furnishings, from the paintings to the well apointed kitchen, and it is bang in the middle of Rye, perhaps the loveliest town in Sussex.

We have stayed in Rye a number of times but can honestly say that this was the best accommodation we have stayed in. The location couldn't be more perfect being in a high position overlooking the High Street and surrounding area. The property is above The Apothecary Coffee House which has wonderful coffee and an historical ambience. The property itself couldn't be more perfect. From entering the fully equipped kitchen with the most thoughtful and generous welcome hamper, along with essentials in the fridge you then go through to the living room with historical pieces, comfortable sofas, stunning artwork (my mother recognised the artist) and far reaching views. We then discovered incredibly comfortable beds and clean and beautiful bathrooms, again the bedrooms had beautiful views. There is also the addition of a communal outside area. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and have thought of absolutely everything to ensure a wonderful stay. Thank you Michael and Camilla. We are looking forward to returning.
