A Zone, allowing for core-zone transportation tickets. The apartment itself is modern and well-equipped, and the host is exceptionally friendly, responsive, and helpful, making the stay more enjoyable.

The apartment is located in a basement, which makes it cold in winter, with poor ventilation and no sunlight. Noise insulation is inadequate, and the mattress and sofa are not very comfortable. Additionally, the entrance feels uninviting, though it is completely safe. Despite these drawbacks, I would definitely stay here again if there’s a good deal on the price.

Great location, most of Madrid was very walkable from here. Good food nearby as well! Madrid was pretty hot, so the A/C was very nice to have. Light was lacking due to being in a basement, but that wasn't an issue since we were out all day anyway. For the price, definitely recommend!

The sofa that folds into a bed was somewhat unstable, due to not having legs on one side. This made it prone to tipping, and actually fell over in the middle of the night.

Javi met us at the apartment and check-in was very smooth. The place had everything we needed, including air-con (which is very important in Madrid in August!) It was in a great location in Lavapies and we had some fab recommendations from Javi to help us explore the city.
