Deux Olives Luxurious & Quality Villa

There were pictures showing that there were no houses nearby or around, but when we arrived, they were actually building a house right up to the edge of the pool area on one side of the property. So basically, they gave incorrect information about how the house looks and its surroundings. We also asked for the house to be cleaned after three days (we were staying for nine days in total). They said they would arrange cleaning, but two days later no one had come. I messaged them again, and still no one showed up. By the time we checked out on day nine, the house had never been cleaned. During our stay, since no one came to clean, I asked if they had cleaning supplies so we could at least clean the floors ourselves. They said they only had a vacuum cleaner, so we could just vacuum. I also tried to ask them about switching to another house due to the construction noise, which started every day at 7 a.m. and went on until 5 or 6 p.m., but nothing was done. In the end, I really wouldn’t recommend staying at this house. The photos are misleading, the service is non-existent, and the cleanliness is just not there. We’ve traveled to Crete over 60 times and never experienced anything like this. You pay a lot for a house that’s basically in the middle of nowhere, with very few restaurants or shops nearby, and it’s not even private.
