Fantastic home in Brightons, Falkirk.

Large well maintained family home. Well equipped, modern kitchen. Good quality & comfortable furniture in living rooms. Bedrooms also spacious & comfortable; the main en-suite room was exceptional. Really everything we could think of was provided. And the host was very friendly. Best self-catering accommodation we've experienced!!

Beautifully furnished cottage with so much space for all of us, really well equipped with everything you could think of needing away from home and a fabulous welcome basket thank you to our lovely friendly and helpful hosts Dorothy and Graham. Also had lots of games to play when it rained and a nice out side seating area for the brief morning sunshine that we had. Had a great time with the family visiting Edinburgh and Loch Lomond and surrounding area, would certainly recommend as a place to stay as the local station which was not far to walk, had direct trains to Edinburgh and other main towns and cities. Perfect location for the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel which are a must if staying in this area. Convenience store and Chinese take away next door to the cottage were great for food and essentials with large supermarkets a few miles drive. A small Sainsbury's local a few minutes walk away near the station at Polmont is opening this week but there is also a large retail park not far either at Falkirk with an M&S Food store and many shops if you need a bit of retail therapy although we had no time for that with everything else we had scheduled in to our weekend!

The house is tidy, well-organized, and clean, with everything a traveler might need. The host is extremely courteous and respectful.

This house is spotless! It's absolutely beautiful. It has everything you could want and need in a home away from home. Dorothy knew it was my husband's 50th birthday, and left him a card and bubbles, he was really touched. Graham met us there to welcome us in and show us around, such a lovely guy. He also rescued us from a sat nav error ha ha. Dorothy left a gorgeous hamper and bits and pieces in the fridge for us too, we really appreciated it. Dorothy is lovely, easy to reach and so helpful and kind. Responded quickly to messages and allowed us to check out later as there was no one else due to arrive that day. We also got to arrive earlier in the day too, which was fantastic. She's a genuinely lovely lady. We can't wait to return... We actually didn't want to leave. There were 4 adults and 2 children, (a very tall 12 year old and a 17 year old), and no complaints at all!! Ha ha. We wanted to visit the Kelpies, they are fantastic and only a short drive away. There are shops and a pub on the doorstep. We just had the best stay. We will certainly be returning. Thank you so much.

I had a wonderful stay for five nights! Dorothy was an excellent host, and the place was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary items. Additionally, the location was very convenient. I highly recommend staying here. Overall, a great experience! I will definitely come again.

This house is BEAUTIFUL!! Host Dorothy is lovely the wonderful welcome basket with super tasty items - such a lovely touch! All the bedrooms were super comfy and bathrooms to die for! The house smelled amazing, extremely clean and a VERY well equipped kitchen! Fantastic having pubs, restaurant's, shops and even an Aldi near by. Highly recommend! We were at the highland show for the whole time which was only 20minutes away by car, 50 minutes by the local bus.

This house is amazing! It has a stunning kitchen which is kitted out with everything you could possibly need! There are 2 cosy lounges perfect for socialising and a beautiful dining room, the bedrooms are highly luxurious and comfortable, the whole house is immaculate!! The location is perfect close the places to eat and drink,ocal shops etc and an easy walk to the train station, making g it easy to get to edinburgh/ Glasgow. Dorothy is the perfect host, so friendly and helpful and has a beautiful Scottish accent! We throughly enjoyed our stay and even managed to entertain some family members that we'd not seen for years in the beautiful garden Thank you Dorothy x xxx

A wonderful home furnished with love and warm touches. The location is excellent, by train you will be fine. We were a couple and enjoyed our stay. We felt Privacy at home. the house is sufficient for a larger number of people, such as a family, with three rooms and two bathrooms with a small toilet. And two living rooms. Dorothy prepared the kitchen as if it were her home. You will find everything. The hospitality basket made us very happy. Thank you, Dorothy and Graham. We were pleased to meet you and hope to return to beautiful Scotland and your home

The presence of insects does not affect the cleanliness of the house, but is due to the nature of the area
