King Penthouse Apt View&Free Parking!

It was a lovely apartment, however it wasn’t clear what building it was in due to construction work and the key holder was slightly difficult to open. Took us nearly 45 minutes to get into the apartment. Then unfortunately we were left with no hot water. Lovely apartment just think some of the facilities need some tlc

Decent location. Nice balcony. Relatively clean.

Kitchen Tap spraying all over the place when tried to use. Communication with staff was totally non existent, tried multiple times to sort out the "free parking" and was spoken to like a piece of you know what. Joke of a customer service to be honest! What a shame.

There was no milk and coffee and sugar on arrival

There was scaffolding erected out side the property and the layby we had been told to park in to unload was covered by the scaffolding and inaccessible. The road, Chadwick Street, was down to one lane due to the scaffolding and the diversion around was very large and not easy to navigate. The property did not look like the photographs provided to assist with access.

There were maintenance issues which had not been addressed at the property which I sent to the provider and received no response. In the bedroom the vertical blinds did not work properly, the cord was broken and the blinds did not close properly, letting in light at night and heat during the day, in the dining area the roller blind did not pull down and stay down. This caused a problem was there are very big windows and it was a very hot week the flat was unbearably hot due to the blinds not working properly. There was a washing machine full of the previous occupants bedding and towels which were still damp. I asked the provider what I should do with it and received no response. There was a dishwasher but no dishwasher table available, the safe was locked and we could not use it, there were marks on the plaster, Smoke alarm in the hall was hanging down, the radiator in the hall was loose. There were big stains on the laminate flooring in the dining and kitchen area. Outside the flat it looked like the front door had been forced at some point and had been repaired, the carpet outside the door in the communal area was badly stained, and gave a poor first impression, The description of the property states 'Property with view' this description leaves a lot to be desired, please see photographs, When we arrived on the Saturday it was quite quiet, however by 7.30am on Monday morning the building noise started constant banging and crashing and shouting. It was far too noisy to use the 'outside dining area' and we had to keep all the windows closed all the time. There was only streaming services on the tv and no standard channels such a BBC1 and ITV etc. We would have appreciated to have access to freeview. The television in the bedroom was not set up and could not be used.
