Πόλη καλή τοποθεσία κοντά στο κέντρο.

Το σπίτι βρίσκεται στο ισόγειο του κτιρίου και αυτό μας φάνηκε λίγο επικίνδυνο γιατί μερικά βράδια περνούσαν νεαροί και έκαναν αρκετή φασαρία. Αν έχετε αυτοκίνητο δεν υπάρχει πουθενά στο Ηράκλειο δωρεάν πάρκινγκ. Αναγκαστικά πληρώνεις, ακριβώς απέναντι υπάρχει μεγάλο πάρκινγκ.

Η τοποθεσία

Πρόκειται για ισόγειο κατάλυμα (πιθανότατα πρώην κατάστημα) με ημιδιαφανή πόρτα εισόδου ακριβώς απέναντι από 24ωρο πάρκινγκ. Ως αποτέλεσμα υπήρχε καθόλη τη διάρκεια θόρυβος και ενόχληση από τα φώτα των οχημάτων. Ήδη από το πρώτο βράδυ βρέθηκε κατσαρίδα στην κουζίνα και συνέχισαν να εμφανίζονται και τις υπόλοιπες ημέρες. Αδύνατη η ουσιαστική συννενόηση και συνεργασία με την διαχειρίστρια του καταλύματος παρά τα σοβαρά αυτά προβλήματα που αναφέρθηκαν. Ο κωδικός Wi-Fi δεν υπήρχε κάπου αναρτημένος και παρά το αίτημα αποστολής του μέσω μηνύματος, μόνο κατόπιν τηλεφωνικής επικοινωνίας μας δόθηκε.

The location is great. It’s also an affordable room, so I would recommend it for one night.

There were some things we expected to be different, mainly the parking. I chose this spot after filtering for a room with parking, but the parking turned out to be a garage across the street. So, while it’s nearby, it’s not included with the room. Additionally, the key box really (really!!) needs to be replaced. It was extremely difficult to open—even the staff from the parking garage tried to help, but they couldn’t get it to budge. One of them mentioned that they often see people struggling with it, so we definitely weren’t the first. After breaking a nail, we finally got it open, but it’s really frustrating. Calling the host didn’t help either, as no one came to assist.

The location is great! Walking distance to all the key points in Heraklion and right across the parking lot, which turned out to be more useful than I had anticipated in such a busy city.

The drains in the bathroom were not working properly. When using the sink water came up in the bathroom and the shower takes a long time to drain. I informed the manager and we agreed that he would fix it after my stay, in order to have less disruptions. There’s no good way to vent the apartment, as it has no windows, besides a small one near the door. The door is a shop door with a black out, which means that I could hear all the conversations and cars on the street until 2am. It’s a busy part of the town.

Perfect location, car parking opposite of apartment, cleanliness, very helpful staff, overall great experience!

It's on the ground floor and can be noisy sometimes.
