Lakeside Terrace - Taupo Holiday Home

The location is awesome just a short walk to town and across the road to the lake also great having 2 bathrooms

Minor detail but very old tv could not chrome cast and no sky...

Location was so good!! Views were great. Warm and comfortable. The young lady that contacted me in the morning regarding the trouble we had gaining access to the property was really really nice. Her name was Ashley .

Unfortunately there was no key in the Lock box and we arrived in the dark at 9pm on one of the busiest weekends in Taupo. I couldnt get any help from the websites after hours number , so I left several messages and emails and even tried a contact # for the property but it was disconnected. In the end I had to break in to the property myself .

The location across the road from the lake and was close to the main town centre and easy to get around. Across the road is a hot water puddle where you can warm ya feet up.

Directions to find the place were confusing, the gas bottle was empty, very noisy road out the front and the place definitely needs maintenance on the outside. The side stairs were coming away from the wall. The other annoying issue was they insisted we take away our rubbish and recycling, which meant putting a bag of rubbish in a very full and fully loaded car. Not sure why the local cleaners couldn't take any rubbish away, at least they will know where the bins are.
