Domus Lapis - con TERRAZZA PANORAMICA

Great location, just a few steps from the main town attractions, right next to the best bakery ever, called Forno 31 - we have had the best-baked goods ever!!! The apartment is well-equipped and has a roof terrace. I wouldn't recommend it to the elderly, or to families with young children because of the very steep and narrow steps which lead up to the apartment and then to the second level and one more level up to the roof terrace.

Domus Lapis was one of the most beautiful and authentic b&b's we've stayed so far. The location was amazing, a few steps from the busy areas of the historical center, and around the corner you will find the famous bakery Forno 31. With a private entrance from the street, there are two floors with two beautifully and minimally arranged rooms, two very clean and well organized bathrooms, a common space and a fully-fledged kitchen. In the first floor the beautiful stone vaults are exposed, you wake up to the beauty of this architectural detail. One of the most outstanding thing was the terrace where you'll find a table of four and sun-beds in two levels, and you are offered an amazing view of the organic city and diverse flat roofs of the white-washed buildings. We would definitely recommend this property and thanks to our kind host who helped us all through!

If you are not traveling by a small-sized car, we would recommend you to park your car in the nearest squares since the streets are too narrow to move. Hopefully our host informed us about the parking beforehand, and we didn't face any problems at all.

Very good location. However, the location on google maps was not very accurate so maybe a picture or something of the accommodation would help when checking in. The apartment itself has steep steps so watch out if travelling with young children or elderly. Nonetheless, it was renovated very tastefully keeping the original high ceilings and also having a really nice balcony to sit in when the sun is out.

There is only heating via heat pumps/air-cons and so we found it a bit cold as the ceilings are really high so when sleeping, we felt very cold (it was ok in the upstairs room as the ceiling is lower). This is probably not a problem during summer as it looks like it gets really hot there.

Apartment is new, clean and the location is very close to historic centre. Bed is very comfortable. You should recieve the PIN to open the door, so you can come anytime. There is superb bakery next to the apartment.

The link to online chceck in didn't work from message here on booking so I have to ask host for URL address. Even I filled the online check-in I haven't received email with instructions how to enter the apartment and where to park a car, so I have to call the host. There is no sign od Domus Lapis next to the entrance, but it's green door with number 8.

Just a few minutes from the main square, in a very cozy neighborhood with easy access to park. We loved the apartament and it’s unique architecture

the apartment was not cleaned at 4pm for check-in time. The cleaning lady arrived after we did and she asked for 1 hour to clean it. Of course, it wasn’t an issue, we could go to a nice walk. However, when going to bed I realised that the linen in one of the double-beds wasn’t changed, and I reached out to the landlord who assured me that the cleaning lady will come and change it next day. When we came home next day, only 2 new pillows was thrown on top of the bed but nothing else was changed. On top of this, the landlord didn’t respect us to communicate in English, even though it’s written in her profile that she speaks English. Everything she wrote was in Italian and I had to copy everything to the translator to be able to understand her.
